interrupted decay (2008)

Abstract paintings. Interventions on wood from an old Venetian furniture wreckage.

Once covered by several layers of paint, the furniture was left to degrade under direct sunlight, exposed to wind and rainfall for several months, then dismantled and treated with paint solvents in various degrees. Black ink drawings, subtle oil paintings, merged into atmospheric backgrounds.
